Our company name, Leader to Leader was birthed from the belief that it takes a leader to understand the story of another leader as they can identify with their challenges and experiences. It made us to be convinced that every leader has something valuable that can help another leader somewhere and in turn, can be impacted by the same leader in return. This led to us to adopting a motto that says, “ something to share, something to learn”, implying that every leader has something to share with others and something to learn from them as well.
The idea of sharing and learning between leaders comes in a time wherein most leaders are only focusing on building their own empires, not welcoming input from others, not willing to share and others painfully dying alone in their struggles.
As a company, we endeavour to create a flow of wisdom and resources between ourselves as leaders, the leaders we serve and those around them, from one leader to another leader. We believe that in this way we will all be able to achieve our individual and corporate leadership goals. As the saying goes, “no man loses his own light by lighting another man’s candle”. We believe that if as leaders we share and learn from each other we will be able to do more with what we have within the little time we have. It will take leaders of an exceptional calibre to be open to share with others and to also receive from them, hence we strive to build such a type.
Our goal is also to summon leaders into making an impact that lasts because we believe that great leadership is seen by the fruits it leaves behind. One leader once said, “the foot prints of giants make big holes”, meaning that great leaders make an impact that transcends their time and leave a great legacy. It is therefore our aim that as we serve you or your organization, we may make an impact that lasts.
